Whats fascinating about these shoes is that their part of the same pack, they have similarities (not just the type of shoe) and their upper sometimes separates the sneaker-head community.  Denim, when this material, usually used for jeans and old nerdy jackets(except when ripped up a little and scuffed, and thrown on a hot woman) is used in shoes, some people hate it, some people love it, but there is no majority lean as there is with most shoes.  The pack features a dark indigo denim and a grey denim.  I like the grey one. Both feature a leather swoosh, black lining, white mid-sole with black outsole, red tongue tag and a tri-color hell tab.  Personally, 

Two Color-ways have been rising to the tops of forums and their both Lebron VIIIs V2.  One of them is the Summit version and the other is the entourage edition.  Both have release dates posted below.  They will both be released on the same day and I can only hope that I get my hands on both. Fingers crossed, since this is my favorite shoe, comfort wise and look wise to date.

We posted right before this, the release date of the Air Jordan 2011 "Year of the Rabbit" color-way and now we bring you the Black Patent edition.  This is the very same pair that Dwayne Wade wore when the heat just recently visited the Knicks.  Wade scored 34 points or so but it was not enough to keep the Knicks from a home domination.  Lets just say, it isn't all about the kicks.....okay maybe it is a little, but the knicks had good teamwork and Wade cant win games all by himself.  I do guarantee you that without those kicks he would not have had 34 points.  There is no official release date for these patent 2011's but Id say keep a look out for february  since Nike is hitting us Sneakerheads as hard as ever in just a few days.  Hope you all have been saving....

Finally, the info we have all been waiting for.  In a previous Blarticle (Blog article)(here at DRIPT we coin our own terms....DER!!!) we mentioned the release dates of 3 of the 4 color-ways of the new Air Jordan 2011.  But now, we have concrete info on the "Year of the Rabbit" edition and it will be released on February 3rd to house of hoops and Nike Stores.  Sadly, to those in Boston, word on the street is NIKETOWN Boston will not be receiving them.  Go ahead an try Nike.com but if that doesnt work then Id quickly suggest getting online at NikeTown NY in manhattan.  Whether you cop the "Year of the Rabbit" edition or any other Air Jordan 2011, you will be happy so dont be too disappointed that you dont get this version.  

Some of the people I talk to been telling me that we put too much basketball on the site and not enough of anything else.  Well today is your lucky day, and today we are writing a piece on a beautiful 6.0 Dunk Low, Brogue Edition.  This Dunk, featuring a blue upper with a flesh swoosh and outsole with an orange lining.  The toe box is perforated and the side panels are pebbled offering a little bit of class to this already classic shoe.  The blue upper is a mix of suede and regular grain leather.  If you look closer you will see it sports a matching blue tongue made of mesh and a blue 6.0 tongue

Just like last year Lebron had another version released just in time for the post-season.  Right now, images have been rising showing this new kick which utilizes another upper that Nike is now using for hybrids such as the dunk fuse.  This fuse material is used in such a way that the V3 looks like the V2 just a different material on the upper.  The bottom of the shoe, the outsole, is constructed of a max air unit in the heel and a zoom air unit in the forefoot to maximize the versitlity of the shoe while still keeping its comfort.  I personally am a big fan of the V2 feel and style and not such a big fan of the way the fuse feels on my feet so im curious to see what happens.  

Great news sneakerheads, The Air Jordan Retro 3 Black/Cement has been confirmed for Holiday 2011.  Another smooth kick that is confirmed is the Air Jordan XI concord edition.  This will be the fourth time the Black/Cement 3 will be released and it will go for retail of $150.  The Air Jordan XI Concord will also be available in Holiday 2011 but it will be going for $175.  

Now that we have seen pictures of the new Lebron VIII version 3 surfacing it is really important that you get your hands on a pair of the V1 and V2.  The next color-way of the V2 that is on its way is the "Cool Grey."  This pair of kicks is using a darker grey scheme than the Jordan Cool Grey Color-way.  The Grey scheme here is a darker base and stays in that zone with the highlights and lining.  However, this V2 does utilize the "Dunkman" lime green on the outsole and as the Font color for "Flywire".  Also if you look at the kick you will notice there is a kind of fade from the top to the bottom in color, and it gets lighter and softer on the eyes when you get closer to the outsole.  This shoe will be available at not all Nike accounts but select ones.  However, it will be available at NikeTowns throughout the country so it wont disappear as quickly as some others so theres no need to rush and wait online for these. Retail on these bad boys is going to be $160 and they will be releasing on February 4th.
