When we first witnessed the most recent release of the Mayfly it featured a bright orange color-way that we show you below.  A bright popping color that will make any runner or athlete stand out while giving them supreme performance and breath-ability from a running sneaker.  

Now as the Spring season for footwear is hitting us on the head we are starting to see light footwear  like the Mayfly available to the public.  Nike has released the Mayfly for this coming Friday and will be available in two colors, Mint and Black.  Both of these color-ways offers many new possibilities for these kicks that was made possible just by choosing the right color-way, and now can be used in more formal sneaker-head occasions.

The new Supra Society Mag is sporting a magenta and yellow color-way similar to a pair of Skytop III's that just became available.   Both can be found online at Supra's web-store.  One of the best features of this pair of kicks is Terry Kennedys initials on the back heel.  Supra usually opts to using a two-toned midsole/outsole but for these they went with a solid white vulcanized outsole making this pair much more appealing to the eye.  It reminds us of a candy or even a strawberry lemonade.  Check them out below and let us know what you think.

We as a team are curious as to what is going on in the minds of our readers creatively.  We have a task, simple, but a task none-the-less.  We are not forcing you to do this, but we are asking you kindly to get creative and contact us, we want to hear from you!

The task at hand is to come up with something creative, whether is be a sculpture, a painting, a collaboration, a website change idea, a sneaker customization idea or an apparel or other item customization idea.  You have the idea, you say it, we do it.  We want to hear feedback from you on how we can make DRIPT.net cater to your needs in the sneaker world.  If you think you have ideas to make the site better then hit us up.

Air Jordan XI is one of the JB's best designs and fan favorites.  Releasing on May 5th will be a low edition sporting some sweet summer colors with an all white upper with white patent and mesh, black detailing on the inside, and a translucent red out-sole similar to the "Breds."  There could potentially be more of a craze and longer line to wait on then we have seen in past years for the pre-Christmas release of the XI's like the Concords, Space Jams, Cool Greys since the weather will be nicer and easier to wait outside for a long period of time.  We shall see....
They will be available on May 5th for $140 retail.

Just like the "Galaxy" Foamposites, Nike will be releasing a similar themed collection in time for the NBA All-Star Game for the signature footwear lines for Lebron JAmes, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant.  Each one is rocking a glow-in-the dark out-sole just like the foams but each one uses a different unique color-way additionally all sporting some sort of galactic starry image.  Check out the collective image of all three with the glowing out-soles below and let us know if these are a must have.  These will also be releasing on February 25th and the link will be tweeted by nikestore on twitter. 

This past Saturday was complete madness in regards to the release of the Metallic Red foams.  They sold out in under five minutes on Nikestore and most people got closed out after they went through the paying process due to popular demand.  You truly need to have the fastest internet to cop a release like these.  Now, nikestore tweeted a release date for the "Galaxy" foams which at one point were called "tie-dye" and were not going to be released.  Finally, they will be released on February 25th, the eve of the NBA All-Star game.  Check out the image below and let us know what you think.  The bottoms glow-in-the dark, does that make you want them more? 

Fans were as happy as ever with the Jordan Brand Year of the Rabbit releases, including the Air Jordan 2011 and the Retro VII's.  Those released during the Chinese New Year and this year the Animal represented is not the Rabbit, but the Dragon.  Just like the Kobe System VII and the KD's Jordan Brand will be taking the 2012 and releasing a sure fire edition for the Year of the Dragon.  Due to the upper level of performance of these shoes, Nike is tagging them at a $223 price point and will be releasing them on February 23rd.  The package is going to come with 3 inserts, 2 inner booties, and a special box.

As of right now there is now information available on a release, but just like every other Ronnie Fieg teaser, that information will be released hopefully soon.  These GT II's take on a similar color blocking to other Fieg releases but these sport a Rose like red and what seems to be a gold or even a grey as the detailing with a white mid-sole.  Additional images in the picture like the chair with the velvet and the gold give us maybe a hint to see how royal these kicks are going to turn out to be.  Check out the image below and let us know what you think.  

Last year one of the biggest releases on the Lebron signature line was the Lebron 8 V2 Entourage color-way.  It featured a royal blue, tour yellow, and white color blocking similar to an original Entourage poster.  Here we get a leak of the Lebron 9 low in the same color scheme and it seems to be absolutely amazing.  Check out the image below of the medial side of these kicks and stick with us as we wait for more.
