Growing up one of the things that wandered through my mind was why are grown-ups constantly wearing ugly running shoes...Only once I got older did I realize the truth. All I wanted to wear was Basketball/Sportswear/Casual and that was comfy enough. Unfortunately for me and everyone else, footwear comfort truly wasn't a real thing until recent years or even the invention of Nike Air. However, one of Nike's newer technologies is the Lunar sole. This tech combines a firm shell and soft core of two different types of foam in order to provide the comfort and the correction for different strides. Additionally, footwear companies are now making running shoes look good. Short, jeans, sweats...Whatever! I would gladly wear them anywhere and everywhere considering how comfortable they are. Well, now to the chase, one of the shoes I decided to wear today due to proximity to my door were my Lunarglide 2. All black upper, brick red mid-sole and white detailing. The Lunarglide 2 sports not only lunar foam but also flywire, seamless technology, reflective details, and ultra breathable mesh and was one of the lightest running shoes when it was released and definitely a huge step for Nike. I wore these from 6:30AM till 10:45PM and I looked good and felt good. If you ever have a chance to get your hands on some Neutral colors running shoes with some colored detailing, you could wear them to work as well.

Constantly, there is an influx of questions our way, how do you find your clothes, and how are you able to find awesome product at lower prices. It is not necessarily about price but quality. If you are going to spend $300 on a pair of shoes and know you are overpaying, you need to be sure you are paying for something that is going to last you and give you what you paid for. At the same time, you can still find great priced affordable clothes at great prices that will last just as long. Not to say I plan these combos in advance, but here is just a taste of how you can combo on a budget of some sort. Accessories: Keeping it simple in an outfit is less stress and always appreciated. Express has socks that are funky, and colorful, and can pop any dull outfit no matter the guy no matter the personality. For this one though we went with grey to help tone down the outfit. Clothes: Converse and J.Crew, J.Crew known for its style and Converse for its shoes. But did you know Converse has denim? and at a great fit at that. The jeans coming out of Converse are competition for some of the best fitting denim (IMO) on the market. Granted everyone is a different fit, and these are for me. The shirt I just picked up from J.Crew on a lazy Sunday and for $35 for a button down sport/casual shirt, if this thing lasts me more than 6 months, which it will, I will be overly happy. Shoes: Finally, the key detail of DRIPT's style up till this point. Its also usually the focal point or most out there of what I put together. The ones featured here are the Cole Haan Lunargrand that released shortly after the first wave of the Fragment Design collaboration. These took influence from that set in their pink bottoms and definitely in their waterproof construction. The tonal grey upper with the pink bottom and interior is the perfect simple yet flashy beautiful wingtip. Some of the things coming out of Cole Haan recently have been amazing. Keep an eye on them now that Nike has sold the company to Apax Partners to see the direction in which they run. We might need to be saying goodbye to Lunargrand pretty soon... If in need of any help searching for these or similar products, please send us an email. If you want us to feature your style send images and details of the products to [email protected] On this Sunday, the 21st of April, we need to apologize for the most recent edit to the website. For almost two years we had a running log of sneaker releases in order for people to look back and know the exact date their kicks were released. In the interest of speeding of the functionality of the site and improving the performance we decided to remove the page due to all its images and overflow of content. We hope we have not caused any inconvenience to any of our readers by removing this page. Additionally, due to the new direction we are trying to approach in the interest of expanding our range the sneaker release archive was not in line with that path.
