Ronnie Fieg is one of the best names in collaborations around and he tends to focus his stuff on Asics. Nana, o Nana, Nana is Hebrew for mint, which tells part of the story in how Ronnie Fieg came up with the design for this collaboration. When he was younger he would pick mine, or Nana from his Grandmothers garden in Israel. One of the things that is great to have when in Israel and only Israel, is their Nana Tea, which is always refreshing and delicious and I have not found any other place that offers anything like it. When he was younger he had such an enthusiasm for this Mint that his family nicknamed him Minty. The Mint Leafs will be releasing this friday July 15th at David Z 556 Broadway in SoHo. This will be the final Ronnie Fieg release at David Z, are they worth it? Ronnie Fieg has a special connection to David Z since that is where he got his start into the sneaker world. Check out his history and his blog at this link. http://ronniefieg.com/about.html
Here are the Mint Leafs, what do you think?
