As seen below, today Jordan Brand released and completely unveiled the Air Jordan 2011 which exhibits the best in athletic footwear technology and is at the forefront of athletic footwear.  According to JB it is the most elite and technologically advanced design out of the 26 shoe series it is continuing upon.  Tinker Hatfield, the VP of Special Projects and Creative Design at Nike Inc has said that this shoe is setting a mark for performance footwear and continuing a tradition.  Based on the different types of cushioning and new ideas applied to this shoe, it adapts to every type of player and is the most versatile sneaker offered in the market and it has not even been released yet.  One of the sincerely unique things about the new Air Jordan 2011 is the upper.  The leather on the front that wraps around the upper of the foot and stops at the back is a patina leather.  This leather, was first said to be a finger print when images were first released.  Currently, now that we know exactly what it is, it is a hand crafted petina leather.  This makes sure that no two shoes are exactly alike.  Every pair therefore is unique.  Finally one very cool piece of information about the Air Jordan 2011, is that the "Year of the Rabbit" color-way is happening because Michael Jordan was born in the year of the rabbit.  Rumors have surfaced that the price on the YOTR edition will be the same as the other color-ways but according to my knowledge and extensive research the YOTR edition of the Air Jordan 2011 will be $180, which is only $10 more, but it comes with a special edition box painted with chinese art in reflective gold.
