Hey DRIPT readers! Good News! Tomorrow dropping at 21 Mercer in SoHo will be the Air Woven QS "Euro" and the Air Max 1 Hyperfuse in blue. We have both images for you guys below. 21 Mercer is the name and the locations for all those who were curious.
Let us know what you think of the kicks below. To Cop? or not to Cop? That is never the question.... Jeremy Scott is one of the worlds most renowned designers in the field of "Make Believe" when it comes to style themes. He has been designer footwear for Adidas for quite sometime now, but recently his designs and the products that come forth from this collaboration seem to be growing in numbers. Below we have images of the footwear and apparel that we think best follows the patterns and likes of those of us at DRIPT and we hope you like it. These will all be available come the beginning of fall and the apparel will be in more limited numbers and harder to find than the footwear. Look out though, because everything of Jeremy Scott and his line always disappears very quickly.
July 27th happens to be the magical day to keep in mind for a possible release of the new hyperfuse Air Max 90 "Infrared". When these first released they were in supremely limited quantities but in even greater demand, causing the resell price to go sky high proportionately. This time around it is said to be more of global larger release. As you can see below it literally is the perfect copy of the "infrared" 90's from the previous release, yet in the lightweight, breathable hyperfuse layers of material. Let us know what you think of these compared to the last release. We have posted the image of those for you too, in order to get you stimulated. Some people wont ever argue with the classic leathers and materials, but if the new ones fit the same way and feel the same and breathe better, what would you chose? One of the most noticeable differences is the mid-sole which is darker on the fuse, the upper which follows the same patter of darker tones, and then the out-sole which seems to be thinner...hmm.... Let us know your thoughts. More and more images of new color-ways of Lebrons P.S. Elite and his low version for the 9's have been popping up and just last week we saw a new one that has never been put on a Lebron in the past. Were talking about the Floridians, or as some people have titled them "bubblicious." These are set for a May 5th release but are already available at some locations. Here is the infoNike LeBron 9 Low Vivid Orange/Cherry 510811-800 05/05/12 $150 If interested call your local spot to see if they got em cause this color-way is perfect for the summer time and will be turning heads just as much if not more than the "Sprites." The first time the Super Reds were let out into the world Ronnie did so with the classic Gel Lyte III. Taking the same color-way and grey hints and details these GT II's are just as super as the Gel Lyte III's. Part of Ronnie Fiegs lookbook for these kicks features Casey Diego sporting these awesome shoes. The shoes are scheduled to release tomorrow April 27th at all Kith locations and at the online shop at kithnyc.com. Check out the image below and head over to the site to check out the rest of the collection sold and sold out at Kith. Ronnie Fieg does it right, and does it constantly. We will be watching him closely from DRIPT for more and more in the future. MSRP....MSRP....MSRP....one of the most controversial topics when it comes to product. Is this the right price? I dont want to pay this! Why isn't it lower? I want these but can't afford it, why is it so high? on and on and on. The answer to all these questions is simple. Nike sets the price, and either you pay it or you don't. Nike sets its prices where they do for a reason and from our opinion the $250 price tag on the Lebron 9 P.S. Elite is absolutely right on target. Based on the performance capabilities and the technology placed in and all around these kicks Nike should be charging more! We recently showed you an image of the Lebron 9 P.S. Elite South Beach color-way and now we have the Maize edition. Absolutely fantastic, and wish they had used a majority maize upper for the 8's too. Check out the image below of an on court capture and let us know what you think of these superior elite kicks. |
