Stumbled Upon

So as we all know, some people go bananas for kicks.  Not all of us admit we have a problem, good for those of us who do but when you get to the point where your doing some crazy shit like jacking trailers, thats the point where you gotta say you need sneaker rehab....

This past Thursday a Trailer carrying about 3000 pairs of Nike Air Max 90's was jacked in Junction City Kansas.  Anytime a truck of kicks is jacked in Junction City they show up in Kansas City.  One of the things police are telling people to look out for are some dudes selling kicks out of the back of their cars or in parking lots.  Lemme point something out, as illegal as that is, most dudes arent gonna care how they get their fix as long as the fix is real.  If a coke head was offered coke out of the back of a car in the parking lot for 20$ cheaper than getting it from his dealer, he would end up going for both.  When you got a problem, sometimes the law dont stop you. (word to the wise, dont buy the stolen kicks, it can get you in trouble, since you are buying stolen goods, DONT DO IT) Back to the story....Junction City police Chief believes that this heist is connected to the same one from late December where a truck filled with about 4,700 pairs of J's valued at over $200,000 was jacked and recovered in the Iowa area.

Word to the wise, if the writers and artists here at DRIPT can offer you some advice.  Dont buy kicks off some dude on the street or in a parking lot.  Get em from a store or from online.  People get in trouble for buying stolen goods all the time and we would hate to hear it happen to a fellow sneaker head.  Also if someone is selling some brand new kicks and the release date isnt out yet and its from the back of the car, i would be suspicious about their authenticity too, so be on the look.

Keep it real while Keepin it legal.  Get DRIPT. ...OH and stay in school.
