Running off our last article we are here to hit you with some more Lebron commercials. Below we have some of the "The Lebrons" and some of Sprite. check them out below and let us know which one is your favorite. The first one in our opinion shows some what of a humorous side we havent seen from the King since he first started to play. If we could offer the king some advice to help improve his game at times we would say, dont take it as a job or a career, have fun and play the game like it should be played. Live it up and give it heart, just like he did to get to where he is now. For the second one, we suggest that just like the commercial, give the game some heart. Give it your all and we will guarantee you that you wont come up empty handed. No second guessing no sloppy play no thinking no 50% only 1000%. This is our message to the king from his second commercial below. And finally for the third, this one is a powerade commercial. This one shows Lebron showcasing his full court shot skill, however he hasnt been doing so recently. He did however hit a similar shot against the Celtics at the end of a third quarter when the Cavs were leading 79-70. There was a sense of youth and fun to the way he used to play and we suggest he bring it back. We will always be fans of the King here at DRIPT and will never say anything bad, but we offer him this advice to help his play for the next season. Let us know which of these three is your favorite.

At a certain point after the Lebron P.S. was released this season we were experiencing excitement getting ready for the release of the Lebron 8 Lows. Sadly though the release was pushed a few days early without any notice, obviously it sold out but it was tough to get our hands on a pair for "The Collection." The original release date was scheduled for Friday June 10th but they were let lose on the 7th. These kicks, sporting a blue, white, and volt color-way look like a sprite bottle was thrown right onto the kicks. Realistically Lebron should have worn these during his Sprite commercial campaign this year. These were available only through Finishline online and then Champs and Finishline in stores. Check out ebay for current listings to try and get your hands on a pair. In this episode of the Lebrons, Kid lets us all know that the things going through his head are not that simple and people need to listen in order to understand. We at DRIPT find it funny watching this right after the finals and the heat losing and everyone poking fun at the King for his fourth quarter performances and realize that maybe we just dont understand him. No one has the right to point fingers at the man, id like to see all those overweight men sitting in front of their TV yelling at the game play as well as he does and see if they can beat Dirk and the Mavs. At DRIPT we are gonna tell everyone to keep a look out for the King next year considering he might just come back and shut the mouths of everyone or just blow people out the water. enjoy the video! DRIPT readers, we are so so sorry we have been gone for so long! We will apologize considering there are now very few of us training the new interns and the work is mostly being done solely by one person. But were here now and were going to try and push full force to give you guys the info you need to stay up on your game.
Recently, Jordan Brand released two kicks, one was the Retro 3 "True Blues"s which sold out on Nike.com except in size 7 and 15+. The other pair that was released shortly before it was the Jordan 2.0 which was a hybrid of the Retro 2 and a modern day running shoe with a 360 Air Unit offering for maximum cushioning giving an OG design modern technology and comfort. That original hybrid was released in a White/Red/Black colorway and now we are seeing images of the next which is Black/Red/Green which we might add happens to be a theme we would like to see on other retros. This pair incorporates an alligator/snake skin tecture on one of the side panels for added aesthetics. Right now there is no word on the release of this pair but we will tell you that once it releases on nike.com like the first pair, you definitely should cop since it was removed before it even sold out. Check it out below and let us know what you think of this modern day pair bringing Retros to the future. 1968 was a good year for things....all kinds of things, especially the Nike Cortez. One edition here features bright blue upper with a mandarin stripe in the mid-sole and the other has an obsidian blue upper with maize highlights. Very seasonal, if only they had other colors as far as our knowledge. You can pick up a pair at Size? in the UK at their online store however its gonna cost you 52 British pounds and a small child for shipping overseas, and they only have a few sizes left. But check out the images below and maybe Nike will be giving some other editions Stateside.
So the other day, we were thinking, and we realized we have a good amount of people that return to the site, because maybe they trust our info or maybe they like the articles or maybe they like the layout, but we decided we want to give more to our readers and we know its a little late considering the shoe has disappeared from most retailers by now but we wanted to give a little bit of a performance review for the first version of DRIPTs favorite shoe this year, the Lebron 8.
One of our favorite features in footwear for comfort is the Air Max unit, which we give Nike so much thanks for and Frank Rudy for helping them out. Not only is it comfortable but it is aesthetically pleasing to someone looking from some cool kicks but sadly it gets scratched up kind of easily cause it so low to the ground. But regardless, the shoes feel like big slippers, but a little bit firmer around the feet, and are 100% true to size. There really isnt much to say besides for the fact that they are really comfortable and our tester, who has a wide foot, couldn't even argue with that one. In regards to using them to play ball, we will let you know that they do feel like your a little higher off the ground then you should. Like in Jordan Retro 3's. they have the air unit but you don't feel high off the ground. However for some people that isn't a problem when balling out, but when wearing them to get outside and go to the mall or to show off your kicks to friends, definitely a good comfortable pair to rock. In regards to the look of it, the upper utilizes flywire and carbon fiber material patterning and the lion imprint on the tongue. The plastic shine that the swoosh offers can attract anyones attention from a distance. Overall on our scale of 1-10 we give this Lebron 8 V1 "Blackout" a 9 based on the comfort, and style, and technology utilized. (Sadly our tester didn't give it the full ten cause he doesn't like all black kicks, but 9 isn't so bad) Leave us your comments below on how you feel about the Lebron 8 V1. Some of you have been waiting for some images and details of these kicks and finally we have what to give you. The lines for these Jordan 1 Banned were insane and some people were going bananas for these lining up at early as 10pm the night before. I will tell you for kicks like these the wait was definitely worth it. Check out our detailed images below and let us know what you think.
