Only three days ago we posted release info on the Nike AF1 "Year of the Rabbit." More images have been surfacing, more rumors been spreading but thanks to our friends at Freshness Magazine, even more info is out but more legit to help those of us who really really need these shoes.
One thing that has been frustrating to me is all the articles on these shoes, they each are talking about the design but in a vague way, like we sometimes do even here, but kept saying based on the shoe box, that it is modeled after Chinese candy, but which candy, and why?! The Shoe has been modeled after the White Rabbit Creamy Candy, which I personally have never had, but according to Freshness, every child in China grew up with it and it is a toffy like candy. Now, for more release info, the shoe like we said previously will be on sale for $250 and initially we posted purchasing and pre-order for an ebay account. I personally am not buying these kicks so I dont know if that link worked for anyone and their actually getting them but if you live on the East Coast, you can pick the fuzzy critters at NikeTown New York in Manhattan on 57th under the Trump building, Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer, and the New Nike Location recently opened this year at the Roosevelt Field Mall. If you live on the West Coast, they are available at Nike Santa Monica. All these locations will be selling the rabbits with the regular nike packaging not the limited edition candy wrappers. Because of demand no store will be taking phone or email orders. If you want these fuzzy little house pets under your roof you will have to wait online. I recommend going now...
