Set to release sometime around the NBA All Star Game is the "All Star" edition of the Air Max Lebron 8 V2. The V2 is a few ounces lighter than its predecessor because Nike has replaced the leather upper on the V1 with a mesh that is also used in the NIKE ACG Zoom Ashiko. This mesh provides breath-ability, comfort, and lightweight qualities to the shoe. Compared to the "All Star" edition of the Lebron 7 this color-way is not as flashy. The Lebron 7 featured a wood grain image on the leather with a bright blue color. The Lebron 8 "All Star" uses a royal blue and black gradient flow making the shoe get lighter as your eyes move closer to the floor. This effect is added in also because of the white mid-sole. The insoles feature "All Star" graphics and the box it comes with is also imaged differently than other Lebron 8's.
Keep on eye out for their release.
